What is Human Design?
Human Design is a complex system of understanding each individual's energy and personality. It brings together ancient wisdom from Astrology, the I-Ching, the Kabbalah Tree of Life and the Chakras.
Like classical Astrology, each person has a birth chart called a ‘bodygraph’ which is generated using your birth day, time and birth location. This bodygraph shows how your energetic body is activated by the different planets at the time of your birth. There are 9 energy centers aligning to the 7 primary Chakras and 5 Energy Types in Human Design.
Each Type has different mechanics, strategy and ways of interacting with the world. For example, a Projector needs to wait to be invited to give their expertise to someone, while a Manifestor's strategy is about initiating and informing. A Manifesting Generator is designed to move fast and pivot often while a Generator is more comfortable with going deep and mastering what they do. Our differences are powerful and HD can light the way in knowing why that is and how to harness that power.
Many people, upon learning their HD, feel a sense of relief and freedom…knowing that their natural way of being is right for them so they can stop trying to force themselves to fit a mold and a box that society has created. This knowledge is incredibly empowering and USEFUL in life, business and relationships!

Course Modules:
There are 12 core video modules (45-60 mins each) taught by Rachel Star and organised into 5 main sections included in The Design. All modules are on-demand videos and you can go through them in any order as soon as you have access to the course.
There are supplemental learning materials included such as quizzes and worksheets and cheat sheets to further support your learning and integration of the material.
There are also Bonus Videos included (see list below) to support you in your knowledge and application of HD in real life and business.
INTRODUCTION TO HUMAN DESIGN:
Module 1 - The Human Design System Structure, History and the concept of Definition: Intro to the HD system, history, crystals of consciousness, the rave mandala structure
POWER AND WISDOM:
In this section, we will explore the 9 energy centers of Human Design which are aligned to the 7 chakras. You will learn about the 2 pressure centers, the awareness centers, the motor centers and the others. You will learn about what it means to have a defined, undefined or open center. and the gifts and challenges you experience with each of these centers.
Module 2 - The 9 Centers part 1: Centres: Head, Ajna, Throat
Module 3 - The 9 Centers part 2: Centres: Solar Plexus, G-centre, Heart
Module 4 - The 9 Centers part 3: Centres: Root, Spleen, Sacral
ENERGY:
In this section we explore how your energy field or aura interacts with the world. You will discover your aura mechanics, your fundamental operating strategy and your signature that helps keep you on-track in life. Find out what exactly makes a Manifestor, Projector, Generator, Manifesting Generator and Reflector that specific aura type.
This knowledge is invaluable for tapping into your unique magnetism in business, marketing and for understanding yourself and others better in relationships.
Module 5 - Energy Types part 1: Manifestors and Projectors
Module 6 - Energy Types part 2: Generators, Manifesting Generators and Reflectors
Module 7 - The Aura/Energy Types In Life and Business
DECISIONS:
In this section you will learn the hierarchy of authority and the 7 different decision-making strategies and processes that people can have in Human Design. We are each born with 1 and knowing how to BEST make decisions will make life, relationships and business much easier to navigate.
Module 8 - The 7 Authorities: The Specific Decision-making processes in HD
Module 9 - Authorities in Real Life: How to use your HD Authority with big and small decisions and in relation to the rest of your design.
PURPOSE:
The Profile Lines are an incredible part of the HD chart that reveal the WAY you do life, what drives you and your purpose. You will learn the 6 Profile Lines and the significance of the conscious vs unconscious line in your chart. You will also learn the keynotes and gifts as well as lower expressions of the 12 combinations as well.
Module 10 -The 6 Profile Lines: Understanding the I Ching origin of the Hexagram and the orientation and meaning and relationships between the 6 Profile Lines.
Module 11 - Profile Line combinations and practice: Profile combinations & practical application in real life.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
In this final section we start to assemble all the building blocks of the Human Design system! Once you put it all together in a supportive way, you can share laser-focused insights for yourself and your client's personal empowerment!
Module 12 - Putting it all together: Learn the hierarchies of information in HD, How to prepare for a reading with a client and The 5 Keys of Interpretation (proprietary method created by Rachel)

Note: What's not covered in this course: Because this is a foundations course with the goal of attendees learning to provide foundational HD readings, we will not be going into the advanced areas of Human Design that require a year+ study time. These advanced areas include: Variable, the 64 Gates, 36 Channels, Circuitry, 768 Incarnation Crosses. These would be covered in an advanced course which Rachel can advise you on and make recommendations.
In The Design course you will learn all you need to begin doing foundational readings for clients and supporting your business and life in powerful ways with HD!
*Successful completion of the certification will include additional modules, practice reading and assessment and will ultimately be determined by Rachel Star. If needed, certification candidates can submit up to 3 final reading iterations until they've met her standard to receive certification. To this date, no one has ever 'failed' certification.
My Journey with Human Design
I'm a 2/5 Emotional Manifesting Generator. I've been studying and using Human Design since 2018 and offering readings and coaching since 2019.
It has been an incredible journey of self-awareness, experimentation and letting go of the avatar of the 'overachieving good girl' that I created for myself when I was young. Like many other Manifesting Generators, I have had to UNLEARN the idea that I'm "too much" and I "must slow down and specialize to be successful in business". The more I've aligned my life and biz to my natural HD, the more fun I have and the more money I make.
For many people coming to the Human Design system, at first it was very intimidating. It's a vast system with many many layers to it. There are people who've been studying and teaching for 20 years who are still discovering new aspects/angles to the system.
But again and again, I've seen that going back to the foundation is TRANSFORMATIVE.
I have such a passion for supporting people at the start of their HD journey! I love the beginners mind! The excitement, the lightbulb moments, the clarity that always comes!
