The Star is my signature Astrology course, giving you a solid foundation in the system of Astrology. You will not only learn how to read a birth chart but how to support clients and loved ones with empowering cosmic insight!
The Star is an Astrology course for coaches or those who wish to support others in their personal growth and development. This is an on-demand video course that you can watch anytime and come back to again and again.
You will learn to confidently use the language of Astrology using my modern, inclusive and empowering Cosmic Clues approach.
You will dive into the structure and interpretation of a birth chart including the signs, mythology, planets, angles, houses, aspects and planetary movements/transits. PLUS you will get guidance on how to coach someone using their birth chart.
This is not a ‘quick and dirty’ approach to this powerful system, The Star is designed to help you understand a birth chart at a deep level.
You will gain a strong foundation in Astrology (+ mind-blowingly effective techniques you will not learn anywhere else!) and with the knowledge you will gain, you will be able to use Astrology as a tool to empower yourself and others at a new level.
SPECIAL LIVE CALLS: The Star will be open for joining anytime and Rachel will host a LIVE Q&A each quarter on Zoom for everyone in the course! These quarterly calls will be amazing opportunities to ask questions about what you've learned so far and to practice your chart-reading skills.

My Approach to Astrology
I am constantly amazed by Astrology and what it can do for us as individuals and as creators of community, families and businesses. When we create from a place of alignment with our cosmic gifts, we can live authentically, our vision becomes clearer and our personal growth happens much faster!
My way of interpreting and using cosmic insights is inclusive, modern (but with reverence for history), fun, practical and focused on helping the individual to come home to themselves at their best. This system is not “just math”, it is intuitive, it is mythological, it is historical, it is ever-expanding, it is transformational and above all, it is USEFUL.
I teach “Applied Astrology” because in this program, we’re not just going to learn a bunch of theory and dry history, it’s about bringing Astrology to life and finding out how we can apply it to our lives now. This, my friend, is PRACTICAL MAGIC.
I teach using Western Astrology, the Tropical Zodiac and the Placidus House system though you are welcome to use another house system during the course if you wish. If my practice aligns to a particular school of Astrology, it would be evolutionary or psychological Astrology.

What are the dates and times for The Star? The Star on-demand course can be joined anytime. And, there are planned LIVE Q&As quarterly So if you want to join the Q&As, you can plan out your time watching the course videos accordingly.
How much time is required for The Star? Each module is about 45-60mins long and then you can take time with the workbooks and quizzes and bonus videos as well.
What level will the info be taught at? - This program will include 101, 201 and a bit of 301 level info so it will satisfy beginners and also those who know a bit of Astrology but want to be more confident with their foundation and reading a chart.
What kind of Astrology will we cover? Western Astrology using the Placidus house system and the Tropical Zodiac. We will do a brief overview on the many types of Astrology and house systems but this is what we will be learning primarily.
How much of the program is LIVE? There will be quarterly LIVE Q&A calls for at least the first 2 years of the program from Oct 2022. You will have lifetime access so you can join any of these.
Will LIVE calls be recorded? Yes and they will be available in the program portal where you will login to access your videos and worksheets.
Will there be a workbook? Yes, there will be worksheets in a ‘follow-along’ and ‘fill-in-the-blank’ style to help you in taking notes on the teaching.
Will there be homework? There will not be required homework. There will be optional quizzes though to aid integration! The worksheets and reflection questions also provide optional homework for better integration.
Will assignments be evaluated? For the certification, your reading will be evaluated. If it is up to the standards of CQ, then you will receive your certification. If it is not, you may be asked to submit up to 2 additional readings with feedback for evaluation.

Will I be able to ask questions? You will be able to ask question on the LIVE Q&A calls
Is this only for people who want to be Astrologers or coaches? No. This program is for anyone who has an interest in learning and applying Astrology to their lives and/or their clients’ lives. The material will be taught with coaches in mind but you may be only interested in using this for self-coaching also. All are welcome!
Do I need any special Astrology software? Nope. We will be using Astro.com which is free for the more complex chart creation and looking at an ephemeris etc.
How long will I have access to the content? You will have lifetime access to videos, worksheets, etc.
Will we cover complementary cosmic systems like Human Design or Numerology? There is a short bonus video about how Astrology shows up in some commonly-known cosmic systems but we will not be learning these systems in any detail. This is more of an FYI so that you know about it and can go explore these systems on your own.
Is this program inclusive/empowering? I have a clear vision of how I believe Astrology should and should not be used. You may have seen my IGTV video about "bad placements" which I don't believe exist. To me, the modern way of using Astrology is for our own empowerment. No chart is bad and no chart is by accident. Therefore, the language we use and way we interpret Astrology really matters. I will teach in an inclusive way, doing my best to not gender terminology and planets for example. I will share with you mythology and stories as a way of understanding the signs and planets that is not white-culture or european-centric only. I believe that Astrology is a system not a religion and I wouldn't EVER predict a death or accident or tell someone they cannot do something they desire to do based on a birth chart. Astrology is a cosmic language about the flow of energy and making harrowing predictions is not how it works. I appreciate the traditions of psychological and evolutionary Astrology that help us understand ourselves better and help us see a path of growth through the ups and downs of life.

What is NOT included in the syllabus? Reading chart progressions (an advanced technique) , learning house systems other than Placidus and the Tropical zodiac, minor aspects in detail, predicting events with Astrology, advanced tools like the Venus star point, detail on lesser-known placements like asteroids or fixed stars (we will cover Chiron), Human Design which is it’s own separate sister-system I teach separately.
What's the best time to join The Star? You can join anytime but when I do the launches is a great time to join for the excitement of the kick-off. So basically, if you feel excited by everything you’ve heard about The Star, this is it! This is your time. The cosmic is calling you in.
